We moved to our new location on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at 1031 Kacena Rd, Hiawatha, Iowa 52233.

Petersen Pet Hospital broke ground on a new building at 1031 Kacena Road in Hiawatha, Iowa in September of 2017. The new building is approximately 9580 sq. ft.

This new location was designed to better serve our clients and patients with additional exam rooms, a large comfort room, a special dental suite, surgery suite, intensive care unit, isolation ward, and additional parking.

“To enable us to provide the best care for our patients, it was important to us to expand the size of our hospital to include such things as an intensive care unit for improved monitoring of our patients, an isolation ward to keep contagious patients separate from other patients, and a comfort room to  provide our clients with a quiet area for pet euthanasia to name a few,” says Dr. Brad Petersen.
