Linda is a Veterinary Assistant at Petersen Pet Hospital. She graduated from St. John High School in Independence and the Veterinary Technician program at the Medical Institute of Minnesota in Minneapolis.  She worked in Independence for two years before getting married and moving to Marion with her husband Mike.

She stepped away from the veterinary field while her son, Trevor, grew up, but always knew she would return. Her genuine love and compassion for animals, her interest in science, and her desire to learn have remained strong.

Over the years, her family has adopted Chinese dwarf hamsters, two stray cats, and one cat from the animal shelter. Their playful tortie, Maui, is living the good life in her loving, forever home.

In her free time, Linda enjoys going to concerts, spending time with family, road trips, walking, and gardening.
