Jolee has been a Client Care Specialist at Petersen Pet Hospital since 2021. She purchased a home with her partner Cameron in Cedar Rapids after graduating from Kirkwood Community College. Jolee has always had a passion for animals. She grew up on a farm near Keota, IA where she got to care for many types of animals from farm animals, exotics, and even caring for some wild animals like raccoons and robins. As a child, Jolee would always surprise her parents by bringing home sick and/or homeless animals that she had found and wanted to help. She has always wanted to work around animals, which led her to Petersen Pet Hospital.

Jolee has several pets at home. She has three mixed breed dogs named Gibson, Marshall, and Zaedyn. Her three cats are named Pluto, Tyson, and Tilly. She also has a bearded dragon lizard named Dude. Jolee often opens up her home and fosters animals through Last Hope Animal Rescue, so there are always new dogs and cats in and out of her house. She is also the mother of twin baby girls named Maeven & Maelah. In her free time she likes taking her dogs on adventures, spending time with family, and getting Mexican food.
