Dr. Hannah Green is an associate veterinarian at Petersen Pet Hospital. She is originally from Cedar Rapids and graduated from Linn-Mar High School. Between visiting her grandparent’s farm with bunnies, kittens, sheep and llamas, caring for neighbor’s pets, and working at a boarding facility, she knew from a young age that she was passionate about working with animals.
Dr. Green earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2017 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 from Iowa State University. She received her Fear Free Certification while attending veterinary school. Although new to the field, Dr. Green has a special interest in surgery, rehabilitation and caring for senior pets, but she is excited to continue to learn more about the veterinary profession as a whole.
Dr. Green’s husband, Justin, is a PE teacher in the Linn-Mar school district and coaches football and wrestling. They have two daughters named Evelyn and Sloane, and a cat named Pushka.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, taking road trips, hiking, and watching Cyclone football.
