Maria is a Veterinary Assistant at Petersen Pet Hospital. She grew up in Independence, Iowa. After she graduated, she moved to Florida where she got a job at a veterinary clinic and learned a lot. After 5 years in Florida, Maria moved back home to be closer to her family. Maria plans to attend school at Kirkwood Community College to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Maria has two dogs, Keen, an Australian Shepherd, who enjoys agility and going on runs, and Boosie, a Mixed Breed, who love to snuggle, chase squirrels and go on long car rides. Keen and Boozie are everything to Maria!
