Kailey is a Veterinary Assistant at Petersen Pet Hospital. She was born and raised in Southern/Central Illinois and moved to Bettendorf, Iowa in 2013 where she completed high school and graduated in 2018. Following high school, Kailey spent a year at the University of Northern Iowa before transferring to Kirkwood Community College where she received her Veterinary Assisting Diploma in 2020. Kailey is still attending Kirkwood Community College to obtain her Veterinary Technician degree. Kailey comes from a large family including her Mom, Stepfather, and stepsister (Kimberly, Rod, and Madison). As well as her Dad, Stepmother, and siblings. (Bradley, Kelsey, Avilyn, Haidyn, and Dawson). The fur babies of the family include Nino the Morkie, Dudley the Labrador, and Javi the calico cat.

Kailey grew up loving animals and spending time volunteering at animal shelters, which is where her passion for animals grew and how she knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She always treats your pets with the same love and care as if they were her own! When Kailey is not busy at work she enjoys singing, doing anything outdoors (hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, etc.), traveling, playing board games, musical theater, and spending time with friends and family. She hopes one day to own goats and open a goat yoga business on the side.
