Kailey is a Registered Veterinary Technician at Petersen Pet Hospital. She grew up in Normal, Illinois and moved to Iowa in 2013 where she graduated from Bettendorf High School in 2018. Kailey spent a year studying music at the University of Northern Iowa before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She obtained her Veterinary Assisting Diploma from Kirkwood Community College in 2020 and then graduated in 2022 with a degree as a Veterinary Technician.

Kailey grew up loving all animals and spent time volunteering at shelters, which is where her passion for animals grew and how she knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She always treats your pets with the same love and care as if they were her own! Her fur babies include Nino the Morkie, Javi the calico kitty, and Dudley the Labrador. When Kailey is not busy at work she enjoys singing, doing anything outdoors (hiking, kayaking, skiing, playing tennis, etc.), traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She hopes one day to travel to Scotland and work with highland cows.
