We are looking forward to a fun day filled with dog-friendly activities including a walk, costume contests, demonstrations, and raffles.

Join dog lovers from around the area to celebrate the important role dogs play in our lives while raising funds for dystonia research.  Dystonia is a movement disorder that affects several hundred thousand adults and children in the U.S. alone.  This event is for anyone who loves dogs, loves to walk or wants to help find a cure.

Demonstrations: Iowa’s Task Force One Search & Rescue Team, Marion Police Department Canine Unit with Linn County Sheriff’s Department Canine Department, Agility and depending upon weather, we might be having Flyball Demonstration–weather permitting. A dog trainer at Cedar Run Boarding is having Dance & Trick Demonstration, Therapy Dog Demonstration, Service Dog Demonstration

Dog Costume Contests:  Scariest/Halloween, Most Creative, Best Combination, Best Child/Dog Costume, Best Overall Costume

Fun & Games:  Raffle/Silent Auction & Dog Photos

Additional cool stuff:  Event Photographer and a Pet Photographer taking pictures, Cedar Valley Humane Society and a pet groomer will be offering nail trim services

Registration fee includes commemorative T-shirt, goodie bags filled with gifts from event sponsors and entry into pet costume contest.


***Dogs MUST HAVE proof of rabies and must be on a leash at the event.***
