Dr. Ann Eike is an Associate Veterinarian and is originally from Chebanese, a very small town of 1000 people in eastern Illinois. She grew up on a small family farm where she learned the true value of hard work. Dr. Eike knew from day one that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She pursued that dream throughout her life by helping her father on the farm and working at veterinary clinics to gain valuable experience.
Dr. Eike attended Western Illinois University for her undergraduate work in animal science and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2008. Upon graduation, she worked as a mixed animal practitioner but her love of companion animals drew her from that and led her to where she is today. Dr. Eike has a special interest in internal medicine, more specifically feline internal medicine, along with dentistry and giant breed dogs.
Dr. Eike resides with her husband on a hobby farm just outside of Stanley, Iowa where they have 3 dogs (2 of which are Saint Bernards), 3 horses, 2 cows and numerous cats. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her Percheron mare, Mattie, taking care of her hobby farm, flower gardening and rescuing/fostering animals in need.
